Even if the movie wasn’t as terrifying as the original game, I still had fun watching this movie. I just do wish it was scarier and showed the death scenes on screen instead offscreen. Like I get why they made the movie pg-13 since kids do love fnaf. But the original Jurassic park was also pg-13 and it showed a lot more onscreen deaths and yet many fans at the time were kids, so what the heck?? 🫤 Still, even if the fnaf movie isn’t a masterpiece, it is still a fun creepy movie to rewatch on the Halloween season. Hopefully they can improve a lot more with the sequel 😊

I acc think the animatronics being possessed is scarier, but not how the fnaf movie or most ppl imagine it. Most ppl imagine the kids as being fully aware of who they were and they want to kill their killer. However if you look at older fnaf stuff (like the fnaf 1 easter egg posters and fnaf 6 speech) it’s actually more so that the kids’ minds *degraded* as time went on. So it’s kinda sad and terrifying that the fnaf 1 animatronics are possessed by barely conscious minds that have lost so much of their previous selves that now they don’t even know why they’re killing night guards.

Some people are now numb to the fear (not me tho)

i think it's really funny hearing someone who doesn't know the game mechanics to their ins and outs talk about a strategy for the nights, like there's nothing wrong with it of course but for someone that knows that fnaf 1 is absolutely the easiest game in the series(excluding the steel wool games) it's rather cute

I think it's cool that the custom character is voiced by Steve Blum who voiced Tank Dempsey and Barricade is voiced by Mark Grigsby who voiced Sergeant Griggs. Call of Duty meets Transformers.

i had this game when i was like 5 or 6 and i was always scared of the frozen megatron in the hoover dam

I got no problem with how Optimus deals with enemies in the heat of battle the way he takes out shockwave and megatron and shit they were fighting back and Optimus just won, but executing a surrendering opponent who is begging for their life on their knees is wrong. Optimus should have taken him as a PoW under proper Geneva conventions (and I know the transformers shouldn’t give a shit about the Geneva conventions but it’s still a good measuring stick)

What’s crazy is that the people who made the movie wanted the Decepticons and Autobots to be completely distinct, so much to the point that they made them different species. Which implies evil is a race thing. Not touching that subject with a ten foot pole.

Optimus understood that, had he not done anything, that they would have just used it as an opportunity to make things even worse. People dont consider a gentlemen's rage.

Wow, talk about nostalgia! I traded a kid I went to school with my Lego game to get this one and I adored it on my DS. I would take it with me almost everywhere and drive/fly around doing whatever for hours. This game is the GTA of transformers games. It sucks DS systems and games are expensive/non-emulatable now. Especially when someone else breaks your DS............

Personally FNAF 6 is the scariest

My big issue has always been that in most continuties, Optimus prime even at his most violent, understands that what he is doing is a tragedy. He knows that this war is doing no good for either side and that Megatron is being misled by his ambitions and as a result turning into this monster. Take the WFC games, yes you play a violent prime that’s killing soldiers, but you get moments where you see that prime try to actively stop the war peacefully. You see decepticons that aren’t cliche “rarr I hate humans” baddies but actual soldiers who are doing their job too. Both sides have their motivations and while one is clearly evil, you can see why that side believes in it and why Optimus feels bad about the fact that he has to put them down. Movie Optimus prime is nothing like that, they pay lip service and do exposition dumps. But it’s not like they actually try to do anything to show why he acts the way he does aside from “it’s cool to see him kill robots” that’s why you have all those theories saying he has ptsd and other stuff, trying to justify the behavior. Same goes for the cons, Megatron goes from robot magneto to Saturday morning cartoon villain. What was once a tragic falling out between two brothers in arms was reduced to 2 lines across 5 movies. All nuance and interest removed. because Micheal bay didn’t think the audience would care about the giant robots backstory, only the fact that they were fighting. I’ve come around to Bayverse prime and I am able to say he is justified. But that doesn’t mean they did a good job of showing, and it certainly doesn’t make this prime good. If Bay just had one scene where Sam talks to Optimus like an actual human and asked him “hey prime, why are you like this” and prime just said something, anything, that would explain his behaviors, we wouldn’t be having the discussions we do about him decade later. But he didn’t, because Bays transformers aren’t characters, they are just special effects.

Yeah, I completely agree with this because Optimus is always good hearted. Yes but you always have to take into account that they are in a war. This isn’t the G1 cartoon where the war is just a plot device and is never actually expanded upon really 😅 Every time Optimus got angry and any of the movies it was for some pretty valid reasons

Yeah that whole thing of walking around with souless eyes stuck for eternity, I agree. That is exactly how I felt about the fnaf aniamtronics before Scott Cawthon gave them voice acting in the games, just big creepy "weeping angels" type of characters with poor innocent kids trapped forever inside, no emotions. THAT was horrifying.

i agree, i hope the second they really get that original FNAF tone and atomoshpere at least, i dont even need to be jumpscared, I just want the FEELING that the original games gave off, creepy and slow with dark lighting and the animatronics dissapearing and appearing in different spots really fast, creepy kids laughing and cryptic messages written on the walls n stuff

I always interpreted "they think you're an endoskeleton" as either the phone guy or management (or both) having no idea why the animatronics act this way, and trying to come up with some bullshit explanation to calm down the security guard. There's enough context in game to show they don't think like that, and not just because of the naked endoskeleton in the backroom they don't bother with. They're way too aggressive for what is a "naker skeleton", and seem to specifically be targeting you. They look right into the camera, as if they know you're watching them, and scream in your face before killing you. Foxy's behavior and the Night 5 phone call are way too malicious. I love that detail about the game. Because truly, we don't know why the animatronics want to kill you. Do they know you're human? Why are they so malicious? We don't know, and I love that we don't know. Later games, especially starting with Sister Location, really lost that feeling with all the sci fi stuff.
